The series will be titled Ghasil w Makwa (Laundry and Ironing), and it is scheduled to air on MBC during Ramadan 2026. The show is written by Mohamed Ragai and directed by Mohamed Ali, with the storyline unfolding in a social drama framework. The production company is still finalizing casting choices before confirming a shooting date

Last Ramadan, Mai Omar enjoyed major success with her starring role in Esh Esh, written and directed by Mohamed Sami. The show featured a large ensemble cast including Majed El Masry, Edward, Dina, Entissar, Mohamed El Sharnouby, Shaimaa Seif, Essam El Sakka, Tarek El Nahry, Nada Moussa, Alaa Morsy, among others
